Young adults

The Young Adults at Holmeswood Baptist gather together to help connect one’s personal story of Christ with his or her own community. We are open to all people ranging in age from college through 35 years old, regardless of sex, race, sexual orientation or financial status.

The group desires to live life as a community that struggles together through the questions and doubts of faith, practically serves in various social issues in the area at least once a month, and enjoys hanging out in a warm community.

Our Weekly Schedule

Sunday:

9:00 am-Worship

Pub Theology

Pub Theology is an informal monthly gathering at a restaurant where we share free appetizers, get drinks (for those over 21 who wish to imbibe), and informally talk in a safe space about theology, faith, God, life… you get the idea. There will be a topic at each gathering, but the discussion will be very fluid. This is a place to be heard and to hear others in a welcoming environment. It is not a lecture or Sunday School lesson.

We (normally) meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at The Well in Waldo from 6:30-8 pm, but check our calendar to make sure the date or location has not changed. We hope to see you there!
