Bible Fellowship Groups (our name for Small Groups): --9:00am and other various times throughout the week. Small groups are meeting in-person, online, via conference call and around Kansas City. Email Laurel Cluthe to connect with a small group.
Worship: 10:15 am
We are presently renovating our Sanctuary. During this time of transition, we have various ways to participate in weekly worship services by in-person and online. If you choose in-person, we have three different rooms around the church building for you to engage in worship. We are choosing three different rooms so that we can spread out more easily to practice physical distancing because of COVID-19 precautions. Each space will have both live and virtual experiences during the service.:
Fellowship Hall: This is where the music will be live and the spoken words will be streamed.
Prayer Garden: This is where the sermon and other spoken words will be live and the music will be streamed.
Living Room: This is a space that feels like home or a coffee shop. Sit on a couch or a pillow. Move around during the service. Reflect with a neighbor about an element of the worship service that was meaningful to you.

What can I expect on a Sunday?
Sunday mornings at Holmeswood are vibrant and meaningful. We employ an ancient liturgy with a blended style of worship using traditional elements like choirs, handbells and hymns accompanied by our pianist, along with more contemporary songs and choruses led by a praise team utilizing the piano, drums and guitars. Any given Sunday brings an eclectic mix of music, Scripture readings, prayers, and congregational participation that points our focus, attention and devotion toward our Creator God.
Worship is about connecting with God intentionally and remembering that God guides us through all parts of life, particularly in the moments of grief, stress, confusion and the unknown. God is here. And our community comes together to spend time with God and each other in all sorts of ways, as we also stay healthy and love our neighbors by physically distancing at this time.
What should I wear? (while on campus)
At Holmeswood you will find people dressed in their "Sunday best" or sporting a more casual look with jeans. We want you to be yourself and to be comfortable, whether that means dressing up or dressing down.
